Peak blooming period now!
With 50,000 daffodil bulbs set to bloom across Hever Castle’s gardens this spring, feel uplifted by the cheerfulness of this exquisite bloom which symbolises new beginnings.
Wander through the gardens at your own leisurely pace and take in the beauty of the daffodils as you take your daily exercise and recreation.
We’ve planted over 8,000 new daffodils and there will be a couple of unusual varieties this year. Look out for a gorgeous full double cream white flower with rich tangerine orange segments and a hint of green on the edges called Flower Parade. There will also be a frilled rose red cup called Decoy.
We will be opening up Park Wood so that an additional 25 acres of outside space is available to all of our visitors. Ancient daffodils were discovered just two years ago in this woodland area and confirmed by daffodil expert Johnny Walkers to be N. Telemonius Plenus. See if you can find them!
