Road Closure/Diversion:

Uckfield Lane will be one-way only on the morning of Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September and a diversion will be in place. This will impact people travelling from the Mark Beech direction.

There will be no access to the Loggia, Lake or Lake Walk for non-competitors on both race days. Boating will not be available. But access to the Event Village is included.

The first triathlon waves start at 8.00am on Saturday and Sunday and will continue throughout the day. Races will commence with an open water swim in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake and River Eden, transitioning into the undulating cycle that takes athletes off of the Estate and around a circuit through the High Weald of Kent, an area of outstanding natural beauty, and up to the stunning Ashdown Forest for the longer distance races. The largely off road run circumnavigates the Estate and Castle grounds before athletes make the dash to the tree lined finishing chute beside the Lake.

Both race days will feature live bands entertaining the crowds, children’s inflatables, archery, climbing wall and live music, providing a festival theme in the Event Village.

A variety of locally sourced foods will be available in the Event Village and of course there is a choice of restaurants in the grounds offering everything from castle baked cakes and ice cream, to light bites and fine dining.

Always check details before travelling. Hever Castle reserves the right to close all or part of the Castle, grounds, catering outlets and activities, and to change or cancel and events. Please note that use of partner offers may be restricted or not valid on event days.
