This summer, join us for a BSL interpreted Hever in Bloom tour of the Castle and the Rose Garden for those with a hearing impairment.
Hever in Bloom showcases the glorious award winning gardens at the height of their summer beauty. You will be able to enjoy one of the finest displays of more than 5,000 roses in Kent, the Garden of England.
Learn more about over 600 years of history at Hever Castle with a BSL interpreter, and see the rooms decorated for Hever in Bloom with wonderful floral displays in selected rooms that enhance the beauty of the Castle. This tour lasts approximately one hour.
Once the Castle tour is complete, you will make your way to the 4 acre Rose Garden where a 30 minute tour will commence along with the Head Gardener that will be interpreted into BSL.
Once the tours are complete, you will be free to explore the attractions, shops, eateries and the rest of the grounds where you will discover more of the magnificent award-winning gardens. Marvel at the Pompeiian Wall and classical statuary in the Italian Garden; the Loggia, overlooking the 38-acre lake, is the perfect spot to relax before exploring the many cascades, grottoes and fountains.
Wander further afield and enjoy Sunday Walk and Church Gill Walk that follow the course of a stream through peaceful woodland or Anne Boleyn’s Walk, with its impressive collection of trees planted more than 100 years ago. Lake Walk provides a tranquil location to reflect, away from the Castle and Gardens.
Please do not book Hever in Bloom BSL Interpreted Tour tickets unless someone in your party has a hearing impairment. Other Hever in Bloom tickets can be found here.
