Hever In Bloom 25 june – 30 JuNE
Hever Castle’s annual garden event showcases the glorious award winning gardens at the height of their summer beauty. You will be able to enjoy one of the finest displays of more than 4,000 roses in Kent, the Garden of England.
This year Hever Castle is supporting horticulture charity, Perennial. Perennial helps anyone who creates or maintains gardens, parks, sports facilities and other green spaces when they are facing tough times. During Hever in Bloom you will also have the chance to meet representatives from Perennial and have a chat to them about their work.
Head Gardener, Neil Miller, is offering free guided tours of Faith’s Garden. Faith’s Garden on Diana’s Walk has been lovingly planted over the last two years with thousands of perennial plants. The tour will last approximately 45 minutes and you will be able to learn about the newly planted perennial border. Neil will also be sharing some top tips on how to choose and plant the best echinaceas, crocosmias, asters, agapanthus and grasses.
As well as the guided tour, there will be daily floristry workshops where you will be able to make a flower crown with the guidance of Emma, an ex-gardener at Hever turned florist.
Make sure to head inside the Castle to see the stunning English floral displays by in-house florist Pamela Brise.
The group lunch is on offer from 25 – 28 June.
