
Oxted and Westerham Cancer Research Committee invites you to a special fundraising lunch with Lord Astor of Hever in support of Cancer Research UK, Hever Castle’s chosen charity for 2025. Tickets must be booked by 20 August, please.
John Jacob Astor, 3rd Baron Astor of Hever is a prominent English businessman and former politician from the historic Astor family. He remains a Deputy Lieutenant of Kent.
The eldest of the five children of Gavin Astor, 2nd Baron Astor of Hever, and Lady Irene Haig. Lord Astor grew up at Hever Castle. His grandfather was Field Marshal Douglas Haig, 1st Earl Haig.
Lord Astor’s deep connection to Kent and Hever Castle makes his participation especially meaningful for this fundraising event.
