Steve from Steve Hedges Photography is running a one-day ‘Living With Nature’ photography course at Hever Castle. With Steve’s guidance, you will cover both the technical and artistic areas of photography.
Learn with like-minded people in a fun and relaxed manner. Upon completion of this course, a full set of notes will be provided covering all the subjects discussed during the session.
Many aspects of photography training are covered over the course of this full-day photography course, including composition, creative use of shutter speeds and aperture, direction and quality of light, photographic filters, histograms (digital users), camera controls, accurate exposure readings and, most importantly, how to develop your photographer’s eye to improve your photography and create images with impact and mood. For the experienced photographer, the course content will be adjusted to take into account your level of technical knowledge.
Steve is fully qualified with the Master Photographer’s Association and the Royal Photographic Society. He has also been shortlisted for the Outdoor Photographer of the Year Competition in 2011, 2014 and 2015 and in the British Wildlife Photographer of the Year Competition twice, the last time was in 2015.
If you’ve got a passion for photography and want to take your hobby to the next level, a photography course is a perfect way to hone and grow your expertise.
You will need to bring a camera (or a high-quality camera phone). A tripod is also useful but not essential. We encourage students to bring a packed lunch or make use of the onsite facilities.
Date: Sunday 28 July 2024
Times: 10am – 4:30pm (with an hour for lunch)
