ve day celebrations: may 8 – 10 – CANCELLED
While celebrations for VE Day won’t be as we’d planned this year, there are still plenty of ways to mark the occasion. Create your own VE Day Celebrations at home using this party pack.
Join us over the early May Bank Holiday Week end for VE Day Celebrations. Hever Castle will be turning red, white and blue to mark 75 years since the end of World War II with a street party style celebration.
There will be singing, dancing, a special visit from Winston Churchill, a life-size model Hurricane on display, model boats, traditional games plus vintage stalls.
We’d love to see you come in period dress, so get into the spirit by dressing up in 1940s attire and join a tea dance in the garden. Plus if you bring a picnic we have the perfect spot planned for you to enjoy it – the Castle forecourt! Share a picnic table with other visitors and celebrate the day together!
