coming soon – tudor towers – new play area opens summer 2017
This summer Hever Castle & Gardens will be unveiling a new adventure playground, complete with a nine-metre tall castle that is sure to delight young visitors.
‘Tudor Towers’ is set to be bigger than a four bedroom house with its own moat, drawbridge and three turrets.
Aimed at children 7-14 it will feature three slides and two poles and lots of interactive elements split into three houses: Hawk, Bull and Squirrel.
Find out more about the new adventure playground.
Shaded by mature trees, children up to the age of 14 years can enjoy the enclosed wooden playground. Discover climbing frames, swings and an aerial runway. There’s even a podswing that adults can enjoy with their children.
For the under 5s there are: swings, rocking wooden horses and a castle themed climbing frame with slide.
The Tower Maze is now closed and will be replaced by Tudor Towers that will open at 2pm on 11 August 2017.
We recommend that you allow 30 minutes – 1 hour to enjoy the playground. Final entry is 45 minutes before the grounds close, and final exit is 15 minutes before they close. View our opening times.
