Kitchen Porter (Golf Club)

Hever Castle Golf Club are hiring for a Kitchen Porter.

You will work under the guidance of the Head Chef and in his absence the Second Chef to assist the smooth running of the kitchen.

You will be assisting with washing up and the general cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and back of house areas.

Your ultimate aim is to help establish Hever Castle Golf Club as a venue with an outstanding reputation for its hospitality.

Term Time Catering Assistant

Shifts are available immediately.

As a Catering Assistant, you will undertake a variety of tasks within the catering facility including; serving hot & cold food, hot and cold drinks, clearing tables, refreshment service, operating the till & cash handling. Full training will be provided.

We are looking for team members who are:

  • Available to work term time weekdays (9am – 2:30pm, flexible start and finish times)
  • Enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Good communicators
  • Efficient multi-taskers
  • Good at taking initiative
  • Reliable and friendly

Waterside restaurant

Chef de Partie (Golf Club)

Hever Castle Golf Club is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Chef de Partie to work within our small but busy team, providing a quality food service to our golf visitors, members and guests.

You must be flexible with working hours and be able to work weekends and evenings.  Due to our location, you will need your own transport.

A competitive salary is offered for this position, negotiable according to experience, based on an average of 45 hours per week.  Other benefits include:

Breakfast & Events Staff

We are currently seeking individuals to join our breakfast & event teams.

The successful candidates should be able to provide excellent customer service with a friendly & helpful approach, have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and have a positive attitude.

Duties

  • Welcoming guests.
  • Serving food & drinks.
  • Taking food orders.
  • Keep areas clean & tidy.
  • Set up & breakdown event rooms, including tables & chairs.
  • Assist the events managers with various jobs.
  • Menu knowledge.

Skills

  • Service with a smile.
  • Strong communication with colleagues & guests.
  • Bar experience an advantage.
  • Knowledge of food allergies & dietary requirements.
  • Able to work in a team.
  • Attention to details.
  • Driving licence preferred.

Zero hours contract. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends & bank holidays. Training will be provided. Smart appearance required.
