Visitors to Hever Castle are able to sample a range of local wines during English Wine Week (19 – 27 June) or throughout the year.
You can find English wines in the Hever Shop and at the Hever Castle Golf & Wellbeing as well as the 5-star luxury bed and breakfast.
The Hever Shop stocks the wonderful Chapel Down, Biddenden and Squerryes wines, both of which have vineyards locally in Kent.
Over the last few years, English wines have taken the international spotlight, and as Kent is located just 90 miles north of the Champagne region it’s no surprise that these wines are award-winning.
Guests staying in the Hever Castle bed and breakfast can order wines from local Squerryes and Chapel Down.
And Hever Castle is proud to offer a good selection of Kent and English Sparkling wines to make wedding toasts extra special when you host or attend a wedding on the estate.
The bride and groom and their guests can enjoy Kentish wines from Hush Heath and Squerryes or wines from Lyme Bay or Hampshire.
