New prosecco bar adds touch of luxury to historic castle

A new prosecco bar is now open on the Loggia terrace overlooking the Lake in the Italian Garden at Hever Castle.

Visitors to the historic attraction will be able to enjoy a glass of something bubbly in the stunning lakeside location and the bar can also be hired out for corporate events and weddings.

A team of design experts at RDA worked alongside Hever Castle’s caterers, Leith’s, part of Levy Leisure to create the new elegant bar area.

Neil Addyman, Director at RDA, said: “For the design of the bar, our team created an old English, traditional look and feel in keeping with the Castle’s heritage. A copper roof and marble add an element of luxury while the deep tones bring an ambient bar atmosphere. The use of tiles to the back wall provide a modern twist to the heritage look and feel and full height bottle fridges ensure the prosecco can keep flowing.”

Rak Kalidas, strategic director, Levy Leisure UK said: “It’s been a pleasure working in collaboration with RDA. The prosecco bar is a fantastic addition to the guest experience when attending an event at Hever Castle.”
