Hever Castle’s luxury Bed and Breakfast,has maintained its 5* Gold status and a Breakfast award after a Visit England inspection.
The accommodation was assessed by Visit England and got a 96% quality score. To gain a 5* rating businesses have to score between 85% and 100% and are marked on bedrooms, bathrooms, cleanliness, hospitality and breakfast.
The Gold award is given to accommodation which offer the `best of the best’, offering exceptional quality and going the extra mile for their customers and the Breakfast Awards recognises breakfasts which exceed guest expectations.
The bed and breakfast received a 100% rating on hospitality and friendliness, food quality, exterior and dining room and restaurant in the Visit England inspection.
Visit England said that: “Hever Castle Bed and Breakfast continues to provide an excellent standard of bed and breakfast accommodation and the Five Star Guest Accommodation rating is safely retained.
“Investment and renewal has been ongoing, which includes the super new Willow Suite, new carpets for several rooms, new mattresses and new bedding and some new bathroom decoration.
“The team are wished every success with the business for the year ahead.”
