Wrap up warm and blow away the cobwebs with winter walks in the stunning Hever Castle gardens. The Gardens are open daily from 27 December – 3 January for those looking to recharge their batteries after the hustle and bustle of Christmas.

Take a stroll in the gardens where the warm red bark of the Redwood trees glows against the winter sky and winter berries glisten in the frost. Hever’s yew topiary looks fantastic with a covering of snow or frost and the majestic hellebores nod gracefully in the winter sun.

The Winter Garden will be in full bloom with intoxicating scents of Daphne and Viburnum filling the air while the fiery reds, oranges and yellows of brightly coloured Dogwood stems lift the spirits. Energetic visitors can bring their wellies and take an exhilarating walk around the Lake. Keep your eyes peeled for signs of wildlife and waterfowl whose footprints can be spotted in the snow and frost.

To visit the gardens you will need to book a date and time slot for arrival online (including Annual Members), this is to limit numbers to protect yourself and each other.

Please note that the Carousel and Fairground Stalls will not be running as previously planned.

Before booking, please read the important information at the bottom of this page.
