The oak panelled Tudor Suite Sitting Room, overlooking the Castle and formal lawns, provides the perfect setting for an intimate ceremony for up to 60 guests.
Reception drinks are taken in the Music Room, or, weather permitting, on the Tudor Suite Terrace overlooking the croquet lawn and moat.
Or for exclusive use weddings you can have your drinks reception in the Bed & Breakfast Courtyard.
We are more than happy to discuss the options available to you.
The Tudor Suite Dining Room, shrouded with oak panelling and boasting a magnificent fire place, can accommodate up to 60 guests for a wedding breakfast.
For Astor Wing weddings, an evening reception can be held in the Moat Restaurant (bookable until October 2025) accommodating up to 120 guests for dancing with a licensed bar until midnight. After the wedding breakfast, guests are escorted from the Castle to the Moat Restaurant via the Castle drawbridge and forecourt. On route guests can experience the beauty of the estate at a time when all our day visitors have departed. As dusk falls, the floodlit Castle provides a stunning backdrop to your evening reception. There is also the option to book a tipi on the Tudor Lawn, with views of the Castle and moat. On some dates throughout the year the Guthrie Pavilion can be booked, a stunning Palladian style contemporary venue located adjacent to the Rose Garden. Wedding photographs can be taken in the Astor Wing and the surrounding gardens. A time can be arranged for photographers to take shots in front of the Castle and in the Italian Garden and on the Loggia.
There is also a private car park for Castle wedding venue parties, accessed via the private gated entrance to the Astor Wing.
There are 18 luxury, five star bedrooms located in The Astor Wing. Guests can check in from 3pm and check out the next morning is by 10.30am.
We have a total of 27 bedrooms on the Hever Castle Estate, however, should you require more than the 18 bedrooms in The Astor Wing, one of our wedding planners will be happy to discuss the possibility of incorporating these additional nine bedrooms into your wedding.
The stunning location in the heart of the Garden of England is complemented by a varied menu which offers a choice of seasonal dishes, produced by our own highly acclaimed and talented team of chefs.

Within the grounds of the Hever Castle Estate, there are two opportunities for you to stay the night with us.
Hever Castle has played host to many important events and celebrations for over 600 years. In 1903 when William Waldorf Astor set about restoring Hever Castle to its former glory, he added the Astor Wing, to accommodate his family and guests, before creating a lake and the spectacular Italian Garden to house his impressive collection of ancient Greek and Roman statuary.
