Festival Theatre

The Festival Theatre is an open-air festival set in the gardens of Hever Castle. Located in three open-air theatre venues in the gardens: the Two Sisters’ Theatre, the Loggia and Anne Boleyn’s Walk.

The Summer Festival presents a wide selection of shows: family events, plays, classical concerts, opera, jazz, comedy and musical tribute performances.

The stage located on the Two Sisters’ Lawn is covered, and the seating tiered, with the vast majority of seats also undercover, other locations are fully open air.

N.B. dogs or other animals are not allowed at the theatre.

The Audience

The audience is able to enter the grounds from 6.30pm for evening performances, where they may enjoy the beautiful Castle gardens and ambience by bringing a picnic, choosing to eat in the Guthrie Pavilion Restaurant or by simply wandering through the magnificent gardens. For matinee performances, the audience may remain in the gardens after the performance until the grounds are closed for the day, usually at 6pm.

This provides 10% off all ticket prices and catering at the event you attend. Plus two week priority booking , please book by phone 07379 488 477 and state the discount code HCM2024. The priority window opens Wednesday 6th March and you have until Monday 18 March to book your favourite seats ahead of everyone else! After this time you can book by phone or at heverfestival.co.uk using the same code. A valid membership card will need to be shown on arrival. Discounted tickets can be booked for the cardholders use only.
