The Festival Theatre
The Festival Theatre is an open air venue set in the gardens of Hever Castle. Located on the Two Sisters Lawn adjacent to Anne Boleyn Walk, the Theatre is surrounded by delightful flower beds and an abundance of ornamental trees; it also contains the picturesque Two Sisters pond and a magnificent Tulip Tree.
The Summer Festival
The Summer Festival presents a wide selection of shows with something to suit all ages and most tastes. The stage is fully covered, and the seating tiered, with the vast majority of seats also under cover.
The audience
The audience are able to enter the grounds from 6.30pm for evening performances, where they may enjoy the beautiful Castle gardens and ambience by bringing a picnic, choosing to eat in the Guthrie Pavilion Restaurant or by simply wandering through the magnificent gardens. For matinee performances, the audience may remain in the gardens after the performance until the grounds are closed for the day, usually at 6pm.
