Membership of our Princes 9 Hole Course combined with a members range card offer the perfect platform for learning the game at a very favourable cost. There is expertise on hand offering lesson packages helping the beginner golfer to make progress, and of course the presence of the Championship Course offers an obvious upgrade path for the improving beginner to take their game to the next level.
Our Courses and Practice Facilities offer the perfect platform for the budding Junior Golfer. Our specialized Junior Coaching programme offers a clear pathway to improvement and development in a supportive group environment. Our inclusive approach see’s Juniors welcomed into Adult Competition when they are ready to step up, this has helped a number of golfers go on to represent Kent at County Level and indeed England Amateur Teams.
Whilst our Ladies Section remains relatively small, they have a very full calendar of events and the size of the section means new members are well looked after with a dedicated liaison ensuring they fit straight in. Our courses are challenging but fair, offering an ideal opportunity to hone your skills which can then be put to the test with an extensive range of well organised competitions.
Hever attracts many category 1 and 2 golfers due to the length, design and quality of its courses with the Championship Course playable up to 7,000 yards. Our 300 yard driving range situated next to the 1st Tee Championship Course is ideal for both a pre-round warm up and for a serious practice session. The provision of both a practice putting & separate chipping green completes a full set of facilities. Complimenting this, are our 2 highly qualified coaches and their well supplied pro-shop offering a wide selection of high quality equipment which are custom fitted meaning Hever offers the complete solution for the experienced golfer.

Our PGA professionals can guide you to a better game with coaching sessions on the greens. For more specialist tuition we have PGAs running a variety of junior events including Junior Coaching. Sam Pitcairn also hosts Coaching Development Programmes for adults, as well as Operation 36 Women’s Academy for women getting into golf.

Hever Castle has played host to many important events and celebrations for over 600 years. In 1903 when William Waldorf Astor set about restoring Hever Castle to its former glory, he added the Astor Wing, to accommodate his family and guests, before creating a lake and the spectacular Italian Garden to house his impressive collection of ancient Greek and Roman statuary.
