Staff at Hever Castle have been learning BSL and undergoing deaf awareness training to enable them to communicate better with hearing-impaired visitors.
It is part of a bid to make Hever Castle more accessible for those with impairments and disabilities.
Last summer the first BSL interpreted jousting day took place followed by two BSL interpreted, and deaf led Christmas tours.
This year BSL interpreted Jousting will take place on 20 August with additional interpreted falconry displays.
Learning and Engagement Assistant Harriet Waldron said: “We are always looking at ways to make Hever Castle more accessible especially as we have been told by people from the deaf community there is not many tailored BSL events outside of London. We hope that staff training coupled with more interpreted events will ensure those visiting with a hearing impairment get the most from their visit.”
