Snowdrop Walk Hever CastleIn line with government guidelines, the Gardens reopen at Hever Castle on the 10th February for daily exercise for those that live in the local area.

Hever Castle has been awarded the VisitEngland We’re Good to Go industry standard, confirming it is adhering to the Government’s COVID-19 guidance. Full safety measures are listed here.

Visitors that reside nearby can wrap up warm and stroll through the extensive 125 acres of gardens and grounds to get their daily exercise and enjoy snowdrops plus the blossoms of camellia, quince, daphnes, hellebores and early daffodils.

Around 90,000 snowdrop bulbs have been planted in the Gardens over the past few years including a mix of single and double snowdrops, interspersed with some unusual varieties. In the Winter Garden discover a wonderful selection of heathers and dogwoods.

The playgrounds will be open on a timed entry, first come first served basis. The play areas will be cleaned regularly as part of the Covid secure safety measures in place.

The restaurant will be open for a warming takeaway drink and bite to eat to consume whilst on the move.

A walk in the gardens at this time will provide a welcome boost to flagging winter spirits.
