This is your chance to have THE most colour-filled day of your life with family and friends as you celebrate life, friendship, fitness, and fun. For more details and to book please visit the Run or Dye website.
WHAT IT’S LIKE
At Run or Dye, you become part of the rainbow. As you run, walk or dance through the course, you will get showered in safe, eco-friendly, plant-based powdered dye at every kilometre…turning you into a technicolour canvas of fun! Just when you thought you couldn’t possibly be any more colourful, you’ll cross the finish line and find yourself in the middle of a colourstorm at the Dye Festival finish! You’ll jam out with the awesome MC as they count down to the moment when YOU get to Tie-Dye the Sky and open your FREE colour packet to share a bit of the rainbow with your friends, family, and everyone else around you. Clouds of coloured dye will be blasted at you from the MC’s cannons both on and off stage. The result is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that many people tell us is the most fun they’ve ever had exercising.
WHO SHOULD COME
This event is a FUN RUN! Run or Dye is for absolutely everyone! Whether you’re a recovering couch potato or an avid marathon runner, you’ll love the atmosphere and experience at Run or Dye. You’re welcome to walk, run, dance, or skip your way to the finish line. And Run or Dye is family-friendly – kids 6 and under run FREE with an adult!
WHAT TO WEAR
At Run or Dye, YOU are the canvas, so wear whatever you want! Lots of runners prefer wearing white to show off all the colour…but many come dressed in crazy costumes, like an old wedding dress, pirate outfit, or those leopard print pajamas. While the dye is designed to be washable, we don’t do your laundry, so we recommend that you wear something you don’t mind getting a little colourful.
There will be no access to the Lake Walk for non competitors during the event. Please be advised that there will be an extra dash of colour around the grounds on this day due to the festival nature of Run or Dye.
Registration for competitors starts bright and early at 8:00am, closes at 9:30am with the first wave of competitors beginning at 10:00am. The race will finish at 12:00pm, with the event closing between 1:00pm and 2:00pm.
Competitors and spectators will need to purchase admission tickets should they wish to visit the Castle and Gardens and be dye-free before doing so!
