Castle Weddings are typically required to fit around the day visitor experience meaning ceremonies take place after 6.30pm when the public have drifted away. However, throughout the year we have select dates* where the estate is closed to the public giving prospective couples the unique opportunity to experience the venue in the most private way possible. On such dates we can offer the Castle as a venue for wedding ceremonies at any point in the day rather then being restricted to just the evening. This unique opportunity allows you to escape the evening constraints and bask in the serene beauty of the estate, free from the crowds.

In 1903 when William Waldorf Astor set about restoring Hever Castle to its former glory, he added the Astor Wing, to accommodate his family and guests, before creating a lake and the spectacular Italian Garden to house his impressive collection of ancient Greek and Roman statuary.
