Hever Castle & Gardens has been named as the winner at the Group Leisure & Travel Awards 2023 for best Christmas experience for groups – for the second year running.
The Group Leisure & Travel awards 2023, organised by Group Leisure & Travel magazine, recognise the best attractions, destinations and experiences for groups across the UK.
The awards are voted for by readers of the magazine making it a coveted industry accolade.
The winners of the Group Leisure & Travel Awards 2023 were announced at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Milton Keynes on Wednesday 4th October.
The historic attraction beat off competition from Christmas at Kew, Gloucester Quays, Thursford Christmas Spectacular, Waddesdon Manor and York Christmas Festival to win the award.
Hever Castle & Gardens has many years of experience of working with group travel organisers, teachers, and member of the travel trade and offers a range of experiences, tours and packages for groups visiting the historic attraction.
The Christmas event, which started in 2007, is a highlight of the year for visitors and staff with more than a year of planning from departments such as events, retail, marketing, maintenance and gardening.
Groups of 15 or more can enjoy beautifully decorated rooms, welcoming log fires and twinkling Christmas trees in the Castle.
Walk the festive trail in the grounds, appreciate relaxed Christmas shopping in the gift shops, and sample a delicious Christmas menu for groups.
