Dazzling Daffodils 16 – 22 March
Update 22/3/20 – The Gardens and Grounds are now closed for Sunday 22nd March. A more detailed announcement will be made a.s.a.p.
Update 21/3/20 – Weekend daffodil tours have been cancelled and the daffodil displays in the Castle will no longer be on show.
Feel uplifted this spring during Hever Castle’s Dazzling Daffodils event. With 38,000 daffodil bulbs set to bloom across the gardens, there will be a wide range of varieties to enjoy.
This daffodil event throws the spotlight on the narcissus family and showcases the new and the best in daffodils.
From Monday 16 to Friday 20 March you Hever Castle’s Head Gardener will be giving a tour of the daffodils, plus you can always wander through the gardens at your own leisurely pace and take in the beauty of the daffodils with a self-led trail.
We’ve planted a couple of unusual varieties this year. Look out for a gorgeous full double cream white flower with rich tangerine range segments and a hint of green on the edges called Flower Parade. There will also be a frilled rose red cup called Decoy.
This year we have joined with charity Marie Curie to support its Great Daffodil Appeal. Visitors will be able to purchase a daffodil pin and a £2 daffodil cupcake (all proceeds go to Marie Curie).
We will be opening up Park Wood so that an additional 25 acres of outside space is available to all of our visitors.
