Uncover spine tingling ghost stories and learn about the more gruesome side of history in this special after-dark 1.5 hour haunted history tour of Hever Castle this Halloween.
Find out which unfortunate Hever Castle owner got caught up in the Peasants’ Rebellion, which lost Tudor illness nearly killed Anne Boleyn, and discover which area of the Castle is said to be the most haunted.
A complementary glass of Prosecco, or a soft drink alternative, is also included. As are any ghostly chills you may feel!
The evening tour route starts in the Moat Café where you will be met by one of the Castle guides, and follows a short spooky stroll along Topiary Walk to the Castle. In the Castle, you will visit all of the rooms available on the usual visitor route, but with an atmospheric and ghoulish twist!
These Castle ghost tours are not suitable for children under 16 years old. This event is not accessible to wheelchair users. For our access guide please see here. Our haunted history guides are not actors and will provide historical entertaining stories relating to Hever Castle together with some sinister stories and thrilling tales about spooky sightings. There will be a maximum of 25 people (plus your guide) per tour.
Guests to arrive via Hever private entrance. This will be signposted. Please use the gate code for entry (this will be emailed to you separately). On entry, please take the first right and park in the gravel car park where you will be met by a member of our team who will take your booking refence.
The Moat Café will be open for your complimentary Prosecco or soft drink 20 minutes before the tour. Toilet facilities will also be available. Your tour guide will collect you from the Moat Café at the time of your tour. Please do not enter the grounds before your allocated time.
The tour will involve a small outdoor element, as well as steep stairs, so please bring appropriate clothing and footwear.
This event does not include entry into the grounds before or after the Haunted Halloween tour.
