Tulip Festival

The third Tulip Celebrations event as part of the Tulip Festival at Hever Castle & Gardens will be even bigger with 21,000 tulips in bloom in the stunning grounds of the childhood home of Anne Boleyn.

Bulb master and holder of 25 coveted Chelsea gold medals, Johnny Walkers helped to select the tulip varieties at Hever for 2019, with the express intention of extending the flowering season from early April through to mid May.

The Italian Garden at Hever will play host to the largest of the tulip planting displays with a kaleidoscope of colours fanning down the length of the gardens towards the Loggia and the lake.

Free daily tours with the gardeners can be enjoyed as well as tulip floral arrangements in the Castle.

Tulip Festival

An exciting new development for 2019 sees Hever Castle open up Park Wood to visitors so that they can see the untouched carpet of bluebells. This area of the grounds is usually closed to visitors but as soon as the bluebells bloom, the gates will be opened and visitors will be able to take their families and their dogs on a magical walk through the woodland.
