This February half term, we want to educate and inspire future generations to be more sustainable, and encourage our community to take part in this Eco Week event to demonstrate their support for our planet.
During Eco Week, you will be able to take part in a fun activity. You can also discover more about what Hever Castle does to be environmentally friendly and sustainable.
Schools are invited take part in a competition by creating sustainable sculptures with a historical theme. All entries into the competition will be on display in the grounds for visitors to vote on. The winning entry will get a free school trip to Hever Castle and Gardens for their class. The competition is open to primary and secondary aged children. Hever Castle has played host to many important events and celebrations for over 600 years. In 1903 when William Waldorf Astor set about restoring Hever Castle to its former glory, he added the Astor Wing, to accommodate his family and guests, before creating a lake and the spectacular Italian Garden to house his impressive collection of ancient Greek and Roman statuary.

Set in the mature grounds of the Hever Castle Estate, Hever Castle Golf Club is a 27 hole Kent golf course that will encourage and inspire all golf enthusiasts.
