This February half term we want to educate and inspire future generations to be more sustainable. We want to encourage our community to take part in this Eco Week event and to demonstrate their support for our planet.
During Eco Week, you can take part in a craft activity and have a go at origami in the Garden Exhibition. Yuki from Cultivate Life will be here on certain dates sharing tips and hacks on how to be more environmentally friendly. Plus, on certain dates you can join Ruth from Nature Makers for a creative workshop.
As you wander through the grounds you will come across our Forest Friends, Fox and Beaver and you can discover more about what Hever Castle does to be sustainable.
Schools are invited take part in a competition by creating sustainable sculptures with a historical theme. All entries into the competition will be on display in the grounds for visitors to vote on. The winning entry will get a free school trip to Hever Castle and Gardens for their class. The competition is open to primary and secondary aged children. Find out more about how you can get involved here.
