Heroes and Villains School
Throughout the summer holidays (22 July – 3 September) your little ones can take part in a series of activities and challenges as part of Heroes and Villains School.
Discover secret signs and calls, test your skills to become the hero and defeat the villain at each turn, fight the last battle – who will be the last standing? Sport your best capped crusader costume to really get into the spirit of the school.
July: 15 & 16, 22 & 23, 29 & 30
August: 12 & 13, 19 & 20, 25 – 28
The Knights of Royal England will once again return for the annual Jousting Tournaments at Hever Castle. Watch as they battle it out and entertain with exhilarating displays of action, stunts, falls and fights in an authentic arena complete with a Royal Box.
July: 22 & 23, 27 – 30
August: 3 & 4, 10 – 13, 17 – 20, 24 – 28
On selected days in July and August be entertained by the falconry displays from Willow’s Birds of Prey Centre in Sevenoaks for summer at Hever Castle.
The displays will last about 20 minutes and will happen twice a day at 11:30 and 15:45 on the dates above.
Head to Hever Castle on Sunday 6 August for Supercar Sunday, a car event organised by Challenge the Road.
A whole host of stunning super cars with their own individual stories will be on display in the gardens with the castle as a stunning backdrop.
Hever in History
Immerse yourselves in living history encampments and experience crafts, cooking, and battle displays from the Middle Ages to as recent as 20th Century as part of Hever in History (26 – 28 August), this summer at Hever Castle.
The bank holiday weekend also sees the last Jousting tournaments – who will be the final victor?
