What’s on in November

It feels like everyone has got into the Christmas spirit extra early this year and we are embracing it! Visit us during November and December for a relaxed, socially distanced walk and feel the festive cheer all around. Here is what else you can expect to find going on:

What's on in November

November 21– December 8 (Wed – Sun)
December 9 – 24 (Daily)

The decorations are in the shops, the first draft of the Christmas lists have been written and we’re all wondering how much food we need to get through to fit the turkey in the freezer – like it or not, Christmas is coming!

We are delighted to announce that we have received confirmation from our local Environmental Health Officer that we can proceed with Christmas and Father Christmas at Hever Castle during the lockdown period (21st Nov – 2 Dec).

Therefore, this Christmas at Hever Castle become Peter Pan and chase your shadow through Neverland to experience the wonders of never growing old. During the day you can follow the Peter Pan interactive trail and wander through the illuminated gardens as dusk falls. A takeaway service will operate for food and drink in the grounds.

TWILIGHT Christmas

November 21– December 8 (Wed – Sun)
December 9 – 24 (Daily)

For a magical after dark Christmas illumination experience, wrap up warm and enjoy a walk under the stars at Twilight Christmas. Witness the enchantment of the Castle and gardens festooned with fabulous colours and twinkling lights, capturing the spirit of Christmas. Bring torches and pop on your wellies to see the spectacular, after-dark, illuminated trail and Hever Castle’s much-loved landmarks lit up with glorious colour washes.

Become Peter Pan for the evening and chase your shadow through Neverland to experience the wonders of never growing old. You will have a truly magical time.

Many reflect the Castle’s colourful history while others showcase the best of classic and contemporary design.

Unique ranges of Christmas gifts from Hever Castle include an Anne Boleyn range, based on the illustrated borders of the Book of Hours prayer book which is on display in the Castle. Plus, our favourite wooden ducks above!

Throughout November staff at Hever Castle have been getting involved in Movember. The challenge sees staff growing moustaches or taking on 60k challenges to raise funds and awareness of men’s mental health.

CEO Duncan Leslie, Head Greenkeeper Rob Peers and Ian Goodwin are leading the moustache growing, while the marketing department have pledged to walk or run 60k.

The 60k represents the 60 men who are lost to suicide each hour, every hour across the world.
