If you would like to visit Hever Castle before Christmas, please note that tickets for Father Christmas are now sold out. Twilight sessions are sold out from 20 to 23 December. Daytime time tickets are sold out on 20 December and there is limited daytime availability on these other dates.
Good availability is still available on selected dates including 19 December, 24 December and 27 December to 2 January.
All tickets include access to the Castle so make sure you pop in to see the beautiful traditionally decorated rooms and twinkling Christmas trees.

Festive fun at Hever Castle continues after Christmas and offers a chance to savour more family moments.
As darkness falls from 4pm, the grounds are magically transformed. Wrap up warm and step into a world of wonder as the Castle, gardens, and lake are bathed in festive lights. Inside the Castle, you’ll still find beautifully decorated rooms, welcoming log fires and twinkling Christmas trees.
The Castle and gardens are open from 27 December – 2 January. After Friday 2 January, Hever Castle & Gardens is then closed until Wednesday 11 February.

The Hidden History of Hever Castle

Join us for a special afternoon in support of The Festival Theatre, featuring an exclusive talk by historian Dr Owen Emmerson, followed by a cream tea on the Hever Castle estate. Guests are welcome to arrive from 3pm to enjoy a walk on the estate before the talk begins at 4pm.
Dr Emmerson will reveal new research, archive discoveries, and overlooked details that are reshaping our understanding of Hever Castle, its architecture, and the people who lived and worked within its walls. These findings are already influencing future interpretation and displays, offering fresh insight into centuries of hidden history.
This fundraiser event is generously supported by Dr Owen Emmerson, the Hever Castle Curatorial Team, Hever Castle and Gardens, and Visual Elements Ltd. Early Bird tickets are available until 25 December, or until sold out.
Hever Castle is once again hosting a stunning Wedding Showcase, giving guests the rare opportunity to experience our beautiful venues set up for a wedding.
Pre-registered guests will arrive through the private gated entrance to the Astor Wing and will have the opportunity to view the award-winning wedding venues on the Hever Castle estate. The Wedding Team will be on hand to answer any questions and discuss date availability and packages.

Hever Castle has played host to many important events and celebrations for over 600 years. In 1903 when William Waldorf Astor set about restoring Hever Castle to its former glory, he added the Astor Wing, to accommodate his family and guests, before creating a lake and the spectacular Italian Garden to house his impressive collection of ancient Greek and Roman statuary.
